16. My heart is yours,
It’s you that I hold on to
That’s what I do,
And I know I was wrong,
But I won’t let you down
Yeah I saw sparks

home sweet home
Just got back from River Ranch. It was fun! I scraped my knee really bad playing paintball, and I shot KTP really bad. So I felt crummy today. But it was fun!! haha
I saw Taylor's comment and realized that I hadn't wrote in my blog for a little bit.
Let's see... what's new...
1. I bought Ernie's wedding ring. It's awesome.
2. Still wedding planning, have a couple of appointments tomorrow at the hotel and checking out a florist.
3. I need a pedicure badly after River Ranch. (I am thankful for my facial tomorrow though)
4. Watching the Disney Dream during construction to what it is now was amazing. Can't wait for our honeymoon!
5. & I can't wait to get married.
December 11 is our first shower, a Palm Bay shower for everyone who's invited to the wedding from E's congregation. Jessica and her family along with the Owens (Dana Owens is marrying us) are throwing that for us. We received the invite a week ago, Star Wars themed, since I had the choice of theming the engagement party (Disney) Jess thought it was Ernie's turn. Can't wait to see the turn out ;)... And then January 22 is the big shebang - the Bridal Shower, which I have no idea what the theme is (it's a surprise), and it's driving me mad!
Pictures to come... off to bed I go, I'm sleepy :O

Juice Stands + Boutiques
What was planned to be a "just looking" outing to Lilly Pulitzer in the Gardens Mall, turned out to be buying the perfect bridesmaid dresses.
Loey, Beth, Camille, Mom and I met up with KTP to just check out sizes and styles.
We walked in and headed for the back room, with all the pink and green.
Pink and green are LP's summer colors, so we got great deals for amazing patterns!
We also dropped my wedding dress off to be cleaned, and went next door to Men's Wearhouse to check out suits. We found exactly what I was looking for, but better. AND it's on clearance! Crazy, right?!
On October 2, we'll be picking up my dress, looking at rings and hopefully have the orders for the suits in!
We have a lot taken care of and planned already. But I feel like the more I get done; I find out other things I need to plan and put together. Almost 6 months away! This is getting ridiculous - in a good and anxious way!!

I was in the neighborhood...
I've been busy working on our wedding blog, so I thought I'd stop by and update this one!
Well I got a job at Tootsie's on the beach! I am SO excited about that.
I'm stressed out with my job at VS, and I'm ready for a different place.
And... almost 7 months to go! Ahhhh it's getting here very quickly. (SPEAKING OF WHICH... I bought my wedding shoes at Tootsie's recently. Ironic, huh?)
We're starting to get pamphlets and information for our Disney cruise already, just gets us more and more excitingly anxious :D
We registered 2 weeks ago, which was a blast; I explain all that in the wedding blog.
My wedding party is all sorted out, except one last groomsman, who Ernie has yet to ask. I'm trying not to nag him, I'm doing my best. Honestly.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
MOH - Loey
Bridesmaids - Katie P. and Camille
Best Man - Saxon
Groomsmen - Isaac and ???
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I must say, planning a wedding can be exhausting. It can be somewhat lonely when your fiancé lives 50 miles away.
Phone calls just don't do it for me anymore.

honeymooning with the mouse? of course.
249. more. days.
I got pretty much everything all together...
Ring: Check. (finally ;)
Venue: Check.
Photography: Check.
Dress: Check.
Bridal Party: Check.
Guest List: Check.
Invitations: Check.
Now I just need a time machine to get us there faster!!!
~ ~ ~
So... I did my daily check on the Disney Cruise Line site to make sure the interior staterooms aren't booked up for the date we'd like to set sail. (Normally, I wouldn't want an inside stateroom. But DCL has their new ship, the Dream, and all the inside staterooms have a real-time view virtual porthole with a few "visitors" stopping by once in a while.)
I wanted to cry. They're all gone.
So I called DCL, and I talked to a very nice disney cast member lady who told me that, in fact, the interior rooms are completely booked up until Fall of 2011. EEK!
But she talked me into putting a 5-day hold on an oceanview room.
A little bit more, but well worth it. We'd have a few extra square feet and an actual porthole.
And we've decided to book it :)
I'm calling tomorrow to finalize the reservation! Yay!
(*hint hint* - we're registered at Disney's Honeymoon Registry)

So be sure to check out my - excuse me - our new wedding blog, chloeandernie.blogspot.com
Our engagement party is on the 30th, let the celebrating begin! :D

Perfect Proposal
As of 1:00AM on July 4, I'm officially engaged.
And it feels oh so good.
Remember that book I made him for our 1 year anniversary, 365 Reasons I Love You?
On the last page I put one of those Jolee's scrapbook stickers in. It's an engagement ring in a box, well he took the little rinky-dink scrapbook ring out of the paper box and put the real thing in. He also spelled out "Will You Marry Me?" with some alphabet stickers.
We spent almost an hour reading it, and looking back on it I could tell he was taking a bit longer on the last few pages. Haha
It was so perfectly amazing. I texted a select few about the big news, and was freaking out as to why no one was responding. Then I remembered it was a little after 1 in the AM.
My ring is GORGEOUS. It sparkles in the dark, it's crazy. He did great, I'm so proud. It's exactly what I wanted. Princess-cut solitaire. (Or as everyone else is saying, "Princess for the Princess")
I love my fiancé with all my heart. 260 more days!

wedding goodies
I entered a weekly giveaway on The Disney Wedding Blog (love)
and won! I won $20 to a shop on Etsy that sells our future wedding cake topper
I got a really unique hairpin... you'll just have to see the whole picture after my wedding.
Pluuuus, we ordered the invitations today :)
Yay!
It's weird, but I didn't think the dress would truly tie everything together. But it does. The venue, invitations, hairpiece; they all have the same... vibe, I guess you could say.
It's getting more and more exciting seeing it all together.
Really can't wait! :D

I got my dresssss
I went into DB and they had my original pick... but after trying on 50 other dresses (literally), I ended up narrowing it down to 3... then 2... then after an hour of trying on different veils with each dress that were complete opposites of each other, I decided. It was harder than I thought.
I always thought those weeny brides on say yes to the dress saying "I can't choose, I can't choose..." were dumb. But it's the truth, it was one of the hardest decision I ever made. Especially since they were both non-returnable.
Like I said, the two dresses were complete opposites, yet both were "me".
But one had something about it... when I first put it on I wanted to cry. I never did cry, which I'm still surprised about. A lump in my throat was as far as it got.
And I don't believe in signs or anything, but when I put the dress on for the second or third time - (trying to decide between the two finalists) the song "This Will Be" from Natalie Cole came over the speakers. I just told my mom a few days before I wanted this song on the wedding playlist. That's when I tried the veil on with it and I knew :)
Funny thing was my Mom, Aunt Loey and the DB associate were picking out dresses while I waited in the dressing area. The one time I go out and search the floor I found it, Loey and my mom had overlooked it. I picked out my own dress, it was quite funny.
Really fun experience, I'm surprised I walked out the door with a dress the first time shopping. My dress is perfect and I can't wait to wear it (T-minus 306 days and counting).

sugar and spice and everything nice
I'm pretty sure if and when Ernie & I ever have a little girl this is what she'd look like. If you don't recognize her, she goes by Miss Capucine. She's a little french girl mostly known for this.
She looks like me when I was little and she also looks like one of Ernie's little cousins.
Our child.

happy day :)
I signed the contracts for Costa d'Este.
... Technically I am engaged but I want the ring before I go around saying "I wonder what happened to my fiancé. I know he's here somewhere. Have you seen my fiancé? Tell my fiancé I'm looking for him. I've lost my fiancé. The poor baby." (I love Seinfeld)
I AM SO VERY EXCITED. QUITE EXCITED. WHY AM I "YELLING"?
I don't want to tell a bunch of people, but really writing about it in my blog that is linked from my facebook has the potential for everyone to read about it. This blog just seems more secure for some reason. (I don't make sense sometimes)
Some people can be too lazy to click on www.chloepinggera.blogspot.com and they won't know this big news.
HA. 'Tis a pity for them.

baby beach day & meet the parents
Me & Ernie took Levi to the beach last Saturday. He was so much fun, pointing to everything... "Up!" & "That!"
So adorable.
~ ~ ~
Our parents met for the first time on Sunday.
We went to Carrabba's for lunch. It was quite nice; they got along great.
We were there for over three hours so almost a little too great. Then, we went back to their house and looked at a bunch of old pictures.
T'was fun, I'm glad the ice is finally broken and we can easily get them together again!
~ ~ ~
Annnnnd I recently found this lovely piece:
I definitely want to do something like this for our STD's (Save The Dates, just to clear that up.) when that day finally arrives ;)

37.4 miles in 45 minutes
That distance seems like an eternity every time I merge onto I95.
I never thought I would end up being in a long distance relationship. And it actually being successful, for that matter.
We usually see each other once during the week and everyday over the weekend,
which works out quite nicely.
But those days where I know I won't be seeing him, waking up to that feeling sucks. Then I remember I have to get this day over with in order to see him again.
And then there's the feeling of driving up to his house, or him pulling into the driveway. You have the evening to spend together. 4...5...6... hours pass and it's time to go home. It's painful, really.
It's getting worse and worse over time.
Soon, we won't have to say goodbye anymore.
here comes summer...
I'll miss the cold :(
It almost makes me want to move up north. But I wouldn't want to leave everybody here in the Sunshine State. I'd have one XL suitcase stuffed with family & friends to come with me.
But since that is just imaginary... I'll have to deal with the Florida heat I've been dreading since the end of last summer.
It has it's ups... beach days, miss.not-so-pale-anymore... and that's about it.
I'll take scarves and boots over sunscreen any day!
The bottom line: you want what you can't have.
SPEAKING of which. I've been wanting to get my hands on the iPhone since well, ever. And I do not wish to leave my beloved Verizon.
But a little birdie told me that it will be coming in the next year! w00t
I also had a weird dream last night. Apple decided to send me an iPad. It was just dropped on my doorstep by the UPS guy.
I think this was developed from a combination with impatience for my VS bathing suit to get here + I watched a "Will it blend?" video starring the iPad right before going to bed. Lovely.
- - -
Well, there's nothing new to report. Saturday, my little sister is inviting a bunch of her friends to the beach so me & Ernest are tagging along. We're also taking little baby Levi, so we'll be beachy parents for the day. Should be fun.
Oh and I'm also taking Ernie to see Costa d'Este for the first time!! Can't wait for him to see it.
I'll be sure to take some pictures this weekend to share baby Levi's cuteness :)

15 months of completeness
Today is our 15 month anniversary! Yay!
I decided to get a few silly gifts for him (like a mani-pedi set, since he always wants to go and "get his nails done")
I say all time..."seriously babe? I'll - you know your girlfriend - do it for free. Why would you want an Asian chick to charge you $30 for it?."
HAHAHA
Can't wait to give it to him ;)
I also got him a tie and an engraved key chain from TR.
Nothing new coming up, no big plans for Disney since our passes expired. No vacations coming up. We're saving for the big shebang wedding. WOOOO
I'm nervous&excited :D
My baby ♥

1 Wedding Venue and a Baby
Last Thursday, me and my mom met with Alba (the wedding coordinator) at Costa d ‘Este. The place is beautiful. There is not one flaw in the decoration. Which is rare for me, I almost always find something I don’t like. Every inch of that place is pristine, just amazing. By that point, I narrowed the guest list down to 70 so we can keep the costs down. The price range she gave us was still a bit out of our budget so as soon as I got home I narrowed it down to 60. We’re going back sometime next week to see what different wedding packages they have so we can make it happen. I feel selfish, but I’ve never wanted something as much as I want this venue!
Photos that I took:
~
February 26 was our 14 month anniversary – and for the past two months I’ve given Ernie a card, sort of as a joke. After our big 1 year, he thinks it’s funny that I still count down the days until our next (month) anniversary. I buy/make him a card/gift/whatever I want to so I can “surprise” him. He hasn’t been teasing me lately but I think it’s a cute and fun tradition that I'll try to keep up. :)

Contemporary Trip. 18. New Job. Etc.
Whoa, it's time for an update!
~~~
Our l-a-s-t (for a little while) Disney trip was a few weekends ago... we splurged and stayed at the Contemporary. (Concierge Level too!) We had so much fun! Most of our time spent was at the hotel and the Magic Kingdom - Even though it was Superbowl weekend and it was PACKED every where!
Saturday, Camille, Ernie & I woke up early to get to Hollywood Studio's to ride Toy Story Mania one last time. We woke up at 6 to get ready and be at the park around 7 for extra magic morning hours. Only to find out it didn't start until 8. My fault :(
Not to mention, we went to bed around 1AM the night before.
Lesson learned: Extra morning hours = not worth it.
That night, we hopped on the monorail for a few rounds. While the guys got off, me & mom explored the Grand Floridian and the Polynesian. They were cool, I was excited to see the Poly because I've heard it's a great Honeymoon resort (which I'm researching for our Disney honeymoon) but it didn't make that big of an impression on me. Lots of research later - we've decided on the Boardwalk Inn together...
On our last day we visited Fort Wilderness Campground and visited some old memories we've had as a family. Then we took a bus over to Animal Kingdom - to ride Everest one last time.
Here's a few pictures from the trip:
~~~
I turned 18 on February 13. Yay! Along with that came my new job, which I love. I'm really fortunate to get my dream job as my first one. I'm loving the discount ;)
My boss is pretty nice, the first day of training included working the Cash Wrap (registers, I used to say... I have to say cash wrap now) and folding panties until my hands felt like they were going to fall off. I'll be working in the PINK section and Cash Wrap. Fun fun :D
~~~
Notice how I mentioned our Honeymoon planning in the Disney post?
Well, don't get too excited. We aren't quite engaged yet. But oddly enough, we have the date set. Shh, I'm not telling. (Sometime 2011, not giving you the exact date because I don't want gossip)
So mom & I have been doing research at some venues and such. We've already checked some venues off the list... (Disney's Vero Beach Resort = big fat no)
We have some appointments set up to meet with some coordinators on Thursday and Friday this week.
Thursday at Costa d' Este - AMAZING plance. I'd LOVE to have it here
And Friday at Mckee - I originally was set on this place, but I've found out a few things about it that really turned me away.
We'll see...
I'll try and update every so often and keep you posted how the planning is coming along :)
tata for now ♥
